I have been a vegan for 8 years. Since I became vegan, I noticed my body started to change and I felt healthier. I eat whole plant based foods with occasional vegan treats, because it’s delicious. I enjoy the plant based community of support. In addition, my mental health to me is just as important as my nutritional health. I work through my mental wellness with my poetry book
