Almost faster than fast food, this tempeh with marinara sauce from Chef Claire Peters is a great last-minute meal. Like kimchi and kombucha, tempeh is packed with prebiotics, a type of fiber that is great for increasing the beneficial bacteria in your gut.

1 pkg Tempeh
1-2 cloves Garlic
Fresh basil (handful)
Marinara or Tomato sauce to taste
Salt to taste
Add garlic to food processor and mince. Break your tempeh block into a few pieces and add to processor. Add spices and salt and pulse into a crumble. Saute in pan to lightly brown.
Add marina or tomato sauce and serve hot over pasta!
